This is where you’ll find my recommendations for products, services, resources, and vendors I personally use. I won’t be slamming you with a ton of stuff, just things I have found useful for building my business, increasing my skills, or keeping my mindset on a positive track.
I’m starting with my most cherished, five-star, “gotta have it” favorite…
Lawrence is a personal friend, and a very, very smart one at that. Not only is he an excellent copywriter himself, he has his finger on the pulse of “all things marketing”. Actually, the guy is obsessed—he doesn’t just slam up a bunch of promotions—he explains them, gives you the back story, and basically cherry picks stuff that is actually WORKING and CONVERTING–and that’s a GOOD thing for all of us!
I almost hate to admit how much I’ve dipped into Lawrence’s amazing array of swipes—it is truly a goldmine of ideas, concepts, and headlines for anything and everything you may ever need to write marketing materials for. Check it out—but remember, swiping is all about inspiration, NOT plagiarizing. Go forth and do no harm—keep your Karma clean.
Aweber is an excellent resource for all of your email marketing. Not only is it a sturdy and reliable platform for list building and maintenance, their reputation is stellar—they do not tolerate any shenanigans when it comes to sending emails.
A sequence of autoresponders, which are a set of emails that mail to your subscribers, can make you a lot of money in ANY market.
Aweber is extremely affordable and easy to use too, which makes it a great option for you.
Jen Sheahan and her team do a fantastic job of setting up your Facebook Ad campaigns and running them for you.
Yes, you can do it yourself if you are so inclined—but having somebody who really knows the ropes and keeps on top of the ever changing world of Facebook is invaluable.
Some Of My Favorite Books
These can all be ordered from Amazon—love that Amazon Prime for free shipping! Hey, maybe I should also post my favorite shoes from Zappos? OK later on that one.
These are all books I have read, re-read, sent to colleagues, and used over and over again in my business. They are listed in no particular order, and I’ll be adding to them periodically. From time to time I will also blog about them and what I’ve learned from them. Have fun!
